Quick Beauty Tips

Don’t you love waking up in the morning, taking one look in the mirror and wishing you could just go back to sleep? I have to admit that the older I get, the more I see things that weren’t there before and it can be a little discouraging.

I am trying really hard to age with grace. However it can be a challenge sometimes to get past it and accept things as they are. At the same time I also know that there are ways we can combat the signs of aging or at the very least, make ourselves presentable to the world around us.

I am always looking for beauty tips and secrets. Something that is quick and easy and will make help me to feel ready to take on the world.

I have learned some tips over the years that have recently become life savers for me. For instance, all you really need is a good foundation and some lipstick for a very quick makeover before heading out the door. If you are running late or just need to run to the store and you don’t want to get all dolled up, by just applying some foundation and a little color on your lips you are good to go.

What about your hair? Ever have one of those days where you just can’t seem to get it right? Instead of fighting with it, put it up. Put it up in a ponytail with a clip or use some barrettes. This eliminates time spent curling, combing, teasing or whatever it is you do with your hair.

Sometimes all it takes is a spritz of perfume, running some mascara over your lashes or applying skin moisturizer at night to help make you feel beautiful. I really think that the more time we spend trying to look beautiful, the more frustrated and critical of ourselves we will become. I think the “less is more” theory works well with beauty.
