I am not a scrapbook material loyalist. I buy based on need… and what’s on sale. I am what you would call a “budget scrapper,” though I will splurge on extra-special layouts. Typically, I put together a layout in my mind based on the photos I want to display and the theme of the layout, and then I purchase the materials needed to bring my ideas to fruition.
I also notice that scrapbook companies offer different products based on region. For example, I live in the Upper Midwest and we don’t get near the selection of beach and summer-like themed embellishments as my mom does in Hawaii. Also, prices vary according to where you live too. Of course, you could always shop online if you are looking for more uniformity.
Looking over at my scrapbook supplies I notice that I own a lot of products marketed by The Paper Company (TPC). The company offers a wide range of scrapbook paper options at affordable prices, including:
*Color translucent paper
*Metallic paper
*Decorative paper
*Embossed translucent paper
*Embossed metallic paper
*Double-sided paper
*Solid collection paper
*Diamond dust paper
TPC also markets a complete line of printed paper packs, which come in handy if you are a busy scrapper or one who lacks creativity. The packs include 12 double-sided coordinating patterned and solid 12×12 papers for scrapbooking; card making and paper crafts. The paper is acid and lignin free and comes in a variety of themes, including:
*Seasonal
*Holiday
*Wedding
*Baby
*Birthdays
*Vacations
If you are looking for TPC products at your favorite scrapbook store, then keep an eye out for the name “The Paper Company Crafts and Creativity.” That’s the brand most scrappers are familiar with. TPC by itself deals with paper by the pound, envelopes and cards. The “Crafts and Creativity” brand features scrapbook paper crafting products, including scrapbook paper, scrapbook paper kits, cardstock, and other decorative paper.
