We all have our different style when it comes to scrapbooking. You see, when I am ready to scrapbook that means I am ready to do an entire album. It’s all or nothing for me.
If I am going to take the time to work on a scrapbook I have to be able to finish the entire album in one sitting. To be honest, that’s probably my whole problem. I can’t really complain that I never have time to scrapbook when I insist on trying to get an entire album done at one time.
I think it is more psychological for me. There is something about a half-finished project that I just really struggle with. So I think I need to embrace a new way of scrapbooking…one page at a time.
Even the idea of doing this causes a stress reaction inside me. I am just not one to do something only partly. But if I really want to get ahead and actually accomplish something, I need to try it.
Besides, there are probably many others out there who feel like I do. You just don’t have the time but maybe it’s because like me, you are insisting that the entire album be done at one time.
Now I know what a lot of you are thinking. You don’t have the desire to drag your things out, put them away and start all over again. The idea of doing that is not very appealing to me either.
So this is where we have to get creative and try to find a space solution. Find an area in your home, a box or whatever else might work where you can keep everything so that it is easy to pull out. Even better, if you have a table or spot in your home where it can sit out then you can work on your scrapbook whenever you like.
Overwhelmed by scrapbooking? Try doing it one page at a time.
