Do you remember the advertisements for Yahoo! that included someone yodeling the name of the website? Right now, if you make Yahoo! the homepage on your browser, you could win one of four fabulous, purple colored, prizes. This giveaway started at the very end of September, and will continue until November 30, 2010.
In order to enter this giveaway, you need to go to the Yahoo! website and click on a sweepstakes banner ad. There are four different banner ads, but you only need to click on one of them. After clicking on the ad, you will be prompted to enter your Yahoo! ID. If you do not have a Yahoo! ID, you will need to sign up for one. It is free, and doesn’t take very long to do.
When you sign up, you will need to provide them with your name and address. It will not accept a P.O. Box as your address. This is because Yahoo! is going to use your address to verify that you are, in fact, a legal resident of the United States. It is also because if you win, Yahoo! may not be able to send a prize to a P.O. Box, but it will be able to ship the prize to your home. You also must be 18 years of age or older to enter this giveaway. Next, you need to make the Yahoo! website the homepage on your browser. This means that Yahoo! will be the first website you see every time you go online, and open your browser. Doing this gives you one entry into the giveaway.
There are four purple prizes to choose from. Why purple? It is because the current version of the Yahoo! logo is purple. Tell Yahoo! which prize you want them to send you if you are selected as a winner. Do you want the purple Sony VAIO Notebook? How about a purple Samsung digital camera? Perhaps you would prefer a purple Coach Kristin Leather Pleated Satchel? A purple handbag might be fun! You can also choose a purple PowerGroom Pet Compact Vacuum.
Thirty winners will receive the Grand Prize of a purple Notebook, each worth about $840.00. There will also be thirty winners of the First Prize, the purple Coach Kristin satchel, valued at $340.00. Thirty more winners will get the Second Prize, the purple camera, worth around $150.00. There will also be thirty Third Prize winners, who will each receive the purple pet vacuum, which costs $80.00.
