Review: Love My Strutz

One thing I did not expect when I began writing for the Weight Loss section was the amount of requests I would receive to review items relating to weight loss and exercise. I am grateful for the requests yet I try to be discerning on what I review for my readers. My goal is not to turn this section into reviews and PR work but a resource that one can count on for quality reviews, advice, tips and recipes.

One such product that came to my inbox that I discerned as worth reviewing is Sole Angel by Love My Strutz. One complaint I hear in regard to working out centers on aching feet or joints. It is hard to work out when you are not feeling your best without aching feet, injuries or joint issues much less with these concerns. Until my recent knee injury, I can honestly say that physically I had no reason not to work out. I never experienced aches and pains or mobility issues that would cause me to modify a workout routine. I simply did not fit in my schedule. After my knee injury I realized the frustration of having a body that did not cooperate due to lessened mobility, pain or a weakness. I needed to find a solution so my knee would not prevent me from a workout routine. My knee brace helps me out tremendously but it is often uncomfortable and does not address my balance or lack of arch support. So, when I had the opportunity to review Sole Angel I was thrilled.

Sole Angel is a shock absorber for the feet. It is made from medical grade compression material and shock absorbing material to give your feet, legs, hips and lower back relief. The stress on your feet is reduced and your balance is improved. You can wear Sole Angel in shoes or bare foot.

So what did I think? Well, when the product first arrived I was tempted to allow my husband to give it a try. He often experiences back and hip pain. I honestly did not think it would address my knee and figured my brace was enough. However, my husband was a bit skeptical and once my knee started to act up again insisted I try. I am happy I did. Now, I realize I will sound like a commercial but from step one the pain in my knee was gone. I walked around pain free and confident in my stride. Due to my knee injury I often felt unstable unless I wore my brace. Sole Angel gave my knee the relief it needed without needing a brace. Now, if I work out I still wear the brace and Sole Angel. I love the combination because I feel back to normal on days when my knee does not want to cooperate. Sole Angel fits in my Nikes but not in my slip on or dress shoes. I did not expect them to fit in dress shoes or dress boots but I felt remiss to leave that out. I will also wear them barefoot walking around the house. In the beginning I experienced some pain as they molded to my feet. That is normal. You are instructed to wear them an hour one day and two hours the next as you get used to them and they mold to you.

I feel confident in recommending Sole Angel to anyone needing a shock absorbers on their feet!
