Wednesday’s Weekly Challenge-Winter Wonderland

It is so cold here in Utah this winter. I can’t seem to warm up. The kids have cabin fever, as do I, and you can only go so many times to the library without going crazy. But, I do love the snow, although this winter, it seems a little ridiculous how cold it has been. My many friends and family in the south have even gotten a considerable amount of snow this week. So, since I don’t see a warm up in my future anytime soon, why not embrace what is all around us? Winter!!

This weeks challenge will help us all to scrap those winter photos. Whether you live in the south, and the only photo you have is of your child in a scarf, or you have feet of snow in your yard, pretty much everyone can scrap a winter layout. But, we have to make it challenging. So, there are a few rules for this week:

1. You must use colors that make you think of winter. These include, white, blue, and silver. You must use at least two of these on your layout this week.

2. Your title has to have a winter theme. You don’t have to use these exact ones, but here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

*Snow Fun

*Baby, It’s Cold Outside!

*Each Snowflake is Unique, Just Like YOU!

*Snowflakes are Kisses from Above

*All Dressed Up and “SNOW” Place to Go

*Chill Out

*BRRRR!!

*Snow Kissed

3. Last, you must use one snowflake embellishment on your page. This can be a sticker, cardstock, felt, or one you make yourself. For a tutorial on making your own snowflakes out of paper, go here.

If you can’t beat the winter, join it! And what better way to do that than to scrap it.
