Buy Two Paperbacks, Get Third Free, at Barnes & Noble

BN Store Are you an avid reader? Do you find yourself in need of something to read right now? If so, then you should check out the sale at Barnes & Noble. Buy two paperback books, and get the third one free, for a limited time. This is just one of many sales that Barnes & Noble has going on right now.

Barnes & Noble has a ton of sales, all year long. Most, if not all, of their sales are accessible online from their website as well as in their actual stores. The advantage of shopping online is that you don’t have to worry about the book selling out before you get into the store. Of course, then you have to wait for it to be shipped out to you. The advantage of going into the store to shop is that you can usually pick up the book right off the table, and hold it in your hand. Of course, this is assuming the book is in stock.

The Buy Two, Get the Third Free Paperback Sale includes specific selections of paperbacks. You cannot choose any three paperback books in the store. You must choose all three books from the group that the sale is for. Fortunately, there is plenty of variety of both fiction and non-fiction books to be found.

Non-fiction titles include: “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle” by Barbara Kingsolver, “Wasted” by Marya Hornbacher, and “Meditation for Women Who Do Too Much” by Anne Wilson Schaef, to name but a few. Some of the fiction titles in this sale are: “Wicked” by Gregory Maguire, “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein, and “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. If you are someone who prefers paperback to hardcover, then this is the sale for you.

Barnes & Noble also has a DVD sale right now. Save 50% on documentaries, and choose from hundreds of titles. A quick glance through their website shows me that perhaps the sale should have said “up to 50% off”, for clarity. Some are 40% or 45% off the original price. But even so, there are plenty of titles that you can pick up for under ten dollars, which is nice.

I noticed the Barnes & Noble website also has an Electronics Sale, where you can get up to 30% off select styles of different kinds of electronics. It seems kind of odd to me that Barnes & Noble now sells things like netbooks, cameras, memory cards and docking stations, because these aren’t the kinds of items that I would expect to see at a bookstore. Keep in mind that not all the items in this sale are 30%. Some are 5% or 10% off the original price.
