Actress Denise Richards is hearing the pitter patter of little feet, but it is not from her baby-daddy, ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Richards has announced that she just adopted a child born domestically. New daughter Eloise Joni joins the daughters Lola, 6, and Sam, 7, Richards had with Sheen.
Richard’s rep said that new daughter “Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise’s mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise.” The rep went on to say that “Denise and Eloise’s big sisters couldn’t be happier and feel incredibly blessed.”
At least Sheen can thank his lucky stars that baby Eloise Joni isn’t his because he would be out even more money. A judge has just ordered Warner Bros., who owns the hit show “Two and a Half Men,” to garnishee any checks Sheen receives from them for $55,000 a month owed in child support payments.
The $55,000 will go to third baby-mama, Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller. She and Sheen had twin sons Max and Bob in May, 2008. The couple’s divorce became final in May 2011.
The request to garnishee any checks came from Mueller. Sheen is still fighting with Warner Bros. over whether he is due any money from his contract with “Two and a Half Men” or not. This makes me wonder if he is having financial problems without that big television paycheck coming in.
Although Sheen’s been laying low lately (well, for him), he did say in an interview that he used steroids while filming the 1989 classic Major League. In the latest Sports Illustrated issue, Sheen admits he used steroids while doing the baseball film. He said his fastball (Sheen played a pitcher in the film) went from 79 mph to 85 mph after using the illegal drug for two months.
At least in that case, Sheen has an excuse to use illegal drugs – well, sort of.
