I am an advocate for drinking water and lots of it! Whether it is for your workout or just regular day routine, you need to be hydrating. I also try to be green and tend to steer away from using individual, non-reusable bottles. I am always trying to drink 8 glasses a day which would be about 8 individual bottles! Instead I have decided to fill up a reusable water bottle for my daily activities and workouts.
Finding a perfect water bottle has been a long, grueling process. I find one that looks alright, buy it because how else can you really test it out? And soon after purchasing yet another new one, the disappointment sets in. Maybe it doesn’t fit in the water holder on my elliptical or maybe it leaks! Or maybe it is not dishwasher safe or it is not a clear container so I can’t see how much water I have left. Whatever the case is, I have struggled with finding the right water bottle for too long.
However this all changed last year. For my birthday my then fiance gave me a water bottle. I appreciated the present but I was skeptical. He didn’t really know my water bottle woes and how I have been on an ongoing quest to find the perfect water bottle. To my surprise it turned out to be my perfect water bottle!
The water bottle has several features useful for me. It has ridges in the bottle, making it easy to grip for a fast-paced hike or walk. It is also the perfect fit for my elliptical bottle holder and it does not leak! This is probably because it has a good quality leak-proof system. The top part stays attached and in place, with an extra but quick step to actually pop the top open by pushing a button. A side bonus is there are notches with a plastic piece that turns so you can keep track of the amount of water you have. It also comes in four fantastic colors that are still clear enough to see your water level.
The perfect water bottle is different for everyone. Maybe the first one you buy works great for you! However if you are looking to try out something new you can check out my perfect water bottle found at Target by clicking here.
