You know that the Summer is nearly at its end when the “Back to School” deals start popping up. These deals are just starting to trickle in this week. It won’t be long before parents will be buying loads of school supplies, and children will be heading back into the classroom, for a brand new school year.
If you haven’t gotten it yet, I recommend getting the Staples Back to School Savings Pass. It costs $10.00, and is not a membership card or a credit card. Use the Back to School Savings Pass to get 15% off of all school supplies, backpacks, folders, pencils, and many of the other supplies your child needs for the upcoming school year. The Pass is good through September 17, 2011, and you can use it once a day.
Enter the Back to School Sweepstakes from Barnes & Noble. This is geared for college students. You have to be at least 18 years old to enter. You could win one of two $1,000 Barnes & Noble gift cards. Use them to shop for the textbooks that your college classes require. You can enter once a day, every day, through August 11, 2011. Winners will be selected on August 12, 2011.
Post-it has a printable coupon that will save you $2.00 off any Post-it Flags or Post-it Tabs (if your purchase is $3.00 or more). This is a manufacturers coupon, so you can bring it into any store that takes coupons. This coupon will expire on August 15, 2011.
CVS has an online sale that will save you 30% off all school and office supplies. This deal will expire on July 31, 2011. You have to shop through the CVS website in order to take advantage of this deal.
If you have the CVS ExtraBucks card you can take advantage of another deal. Buy 1 Paper Mate Grip Pen (8 ct.) for $1.99. The ExtraBucks card will automatically give you $1.99 when you do that. So, basically, you are getting a package of pens for free. You must take advantage of this deal in the CVS store, and you have to have the CVS ExtraBucks card for it to work. This deal is good through July 30, 2011.
Target has a Back to College sale right now. You can find bedding sets for under $40.00, décor (such as lamps, wall decals, and wall shelves), for under $25.00, and kitchen items for under $20.00. Some selections are color coordinated, to make your dorm or apartment look cool.
Kmart has an online sale on backpacks, messenger bags, slings, and book totes right now. You have to shop this sale from the website in order to take advantage of this deal. Prices range from just under $8.00 to a little over $20.00.
