After Christmas Bargain Buys

candy canes Take advantage of after Christmas bargains to stock up on all of the things you need to run your household. Hint: it isn’t all about wrapping paper and Christmas cards.

Electronics

Chances are pretty good that retailers did not sell all of those high-end electronics that they stocked for Christmas. Meanwhile, the new models will be coming out soon, and the stores have to prepare shelf space for new items This means that you can get some rock bottom prices on electronics, especially on floor models.

So if you were wanting that extra large screen television and missed out on the Black Friday deals, you can still clean up at prices that might even be better than those before Christmas sales.

Candy

Just because it is wrapped in red and green foil doesn’t mean that you can’t use it in January. There are plenty of great bargains on candy, so stock up on your favorites and then freeze. You can use the red ones for Valentine’s day and the green ones for St. Patrick’s Day. You cam also use the candy in baking throughout the year.

Baggies and Plastic Goods

How about getting your baggies, plastic containers and plastic wrap at up to 80 percent off? You can when you target the ones with holiday designs on them. They are often marked as holiday items and subject to after Christmas discounts. Check for them in the clearance sections of your mart store, such as Target or Walmart, or your grocery store. Yes, grocery stores do have clearance sections, although you might have to hunt a bit to find them. Our local store has its clearance section tucked away in the hallway leading to the bathrooms, for example.

The best thing about these bargains is that you can usually use manufacturer coupons on them as well, to get them for free or with overage.
