Your bathroom is a tricky room to decorate in your house. You need something streamlined, but also able to withstand high amounts of moisture and heat. Because most people use harsh chemicals when cleaning their bathrooms, you will want to decorate using durable materials that were built for frequent cleanings. Here are some quick and simple tips to help you decorate your bathroom.
The Floor
Always use a durable floormat that has rubber padding on the bottom. The rubber padding will help to ensure that you will not slip on the mat when you exit the shower wet. The durable composition will help to ensure that your wet feet will not deteriorate the fibers or manufacturing. Your floor mat should match your wall color, towels and shower curtain.
The Wall
If you paint your bathroom wall, choose a paint that will not peel under extremely moist conditions. Use several layers. Between layers, always make sure that the bottom layer has completely dried.
