Get It While It’s Free This Fall

left

Nothing catches a penny pincher’s eye faster than the word: “FREE.”

They say that nothing in life is free, and when it comes to the world of travel, that’s typically the case. However, every so often, opportunities present themselves and you really can get something for nothing.

The following freebies turn the spotlight on fall travel, and prove that you don’t have to drain your wallet to enjoy a seasonal holiday adventure:

NEW YORK: The Jane in New York City is helping you experience fall’s glorious colors without breaking the bank. The six-floor West Village hotel is offering complimentary bicycles to overnight guests, so they can explore the Big Apple’s most popular parks at their own pace. Forget about overpriced bus tours, and instead, cruise through the city’s neighborhoods on two wheels for free.

NEW JERSEY: Gather the kids and head to Cape May this Saturday, October 20th. That’s when historic Cold Spring Village will be hosting its annual Pumpkin Festival. The family-friendly fall celebration is free and open to the public. Some of the event’s highlights include live music, food booths, games, pumpkin painting and a Halloween parade featuring floats, costumed characters and plenty of candy.

LAS VEGAS: Fall wouldn’t be fall without Halloween, and you certainly can’t celebrate the holiday without chocolate, so now is the perfect time to visit M and M’s World. Better known as the “most delicious attractions in Vegas,” M and M’s World is a chocoholic’s dream destination. The attraction features four colorful floors of sweet treats, and the best part is that you don’t have to spend a dime to sample the candy-coated goodies. In addition to the free treats, you can also view an array of eye-popping candy-inspired items, such as a guitar made from the famous chocolate candies to a replica of Kyle Busch’s M and M’s sponsored race car.
