Example Questions:
Why did David and his men mourn the death of Saul, their enemy?
What will always happen to people, whether they are rich or poor?
Why are there four different books in the Bible that tell about Jesus’ life on earth?
Why did Jesus want to celebrate this Passover with his disciples?
Why can no one be declared righteous by keeping the law?
My thoughts:
The questions in the book are divided among all the books of the bible which makes it simple to incorporate into a bible study. It also makes it easy to reference for a parent or Sunday school teacher. The questions either hit on what kids wonder about or what you have heard them ask before. Each question gives a bible reference to the scripture that answers the question. However, the references will only correlate to the NIV. My family uses the KJV, so this part was of little use to us. However, it was not a major hindrance either. The questions were helpful to keep in mind while reading the books of the bible. Sometimes it is easy to forgot to think to explain things on a child level. A great book for kids to read on their own or to use in a family bible study.
