Family Favorite Flounder
A classic and simply delicious recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs flounder fillets
2 tbs lemon juice
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened
3 tbs mayonnaise
3 whole green onions, chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1 dash hot sauce, to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place fillets in a single layer on a greased, shallow baking dish. Brush with lemon juice.
2. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients to make the cheese topping mixture, then set aside.
3. Broil fillets 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
4. Remove from oven and spread with topping.
5. Broil an additional 30 seconds or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.
6. Garnish with lemon twists and parsley if desired.
