German Chocolate Cake Frosting
Beats the pants off the canned variety.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
INGREDIENTS:
1. In a medium sauce pan combine the first 4 ingredients over medium heat and stir until thickened, around 12-15 minutes.
2. Add the coconut and pecans, beat until thick enough to spread.
Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes
