Easy Hamburger Chowder
1 pound of ground hamburger
14-ounce can of tomatoes
8-ounce can of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons dried garlic, minced
2 tablespoons dried onion, minced
1 tablespoon of oregano
1 tablespoon of celery seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
3/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 1/2 cups milk
14 1/2-ounce can mixed vegetables, drained
4 tablespoons tomato paste
Cheddar cheese, shredded
In a Dutch oven, brown ground beef, breaking it up and draining grease. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients, excepting tomato paste. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add tomato paste, a little at a time to thicken. Serve in bowls with cheddar cheese sprinkled on top.
