Lindsay Lohan Joins AA
It is hard not to see her on the cover or at least within almost any magazine you pick up now days, but usually, it is a picture taken of her partying. It seems the partying has gotten the best of her because Lindsay Lohan’s publicist has announced this week that she is attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Publicist Leslie Sloane went on to say Lindsay made the decision on her own to attend meetings, but pointed out “And, by the way, she’s not saying…she’ll stop drinking tomorrow.” She also went on to say Lindsay could tell there was something not quite right in her life and that by recognizing that, it made her a smarter person.
Lohan’s mother, Dina, confirmed that her daughter was attending AA meetings. Lindsay had been recently ridiculed by the press for a statement she issued on the death of director Robert Altman.
