A View From The Top

Are you thinking of visiting the city of New York any time soon? What are you planning to go and see? Let me guess! You will probably go to Times Square. Why not? You’ve been curious about it since you watch the ball drop every New Years Eve on television in Times Square. Since a lot of kids are fascinated by skyscrapers, a trip to the Empire State building is definitely on your itinerary. You’ll be sure to make it over to Ellis Island to see the Statue of Liberty. After all, it’s a major attraction too. All of that sounds like fun. I know I’d enjoy it.

If you really want to make that trip an even more exciting one, why not add an opportunity to look at the big apple from another view. This view will make some great photo opportunities, so you want to make sure that you bring along a camera. I’m talking about a helicopter ride. How exciting would it be to get an aerial view of the island of Manhattan? If you’re not that convinced, ask the kids and see what they will say. I’m willing to bet that they will say yes.

On top of everything that I mentioned above (no pun intended), you will be able to see other major landmarks such as Yankee Stadium, Central Park, the 120-year-old Brooklyn Bridge, plus much more that New York has to offer. Most tours last about 15 to 30 minutes with the latter costing a bit more.

There are several operators that offer these types of tours. Those that I have seen generally offer tours daily at the same hours each day. Just about all of them recommend that you make reservations in advance. Some will even let you customize your own trip.
