I am a scrapbooker with a short attention span. I do not scrapbook enough to make a large book from the time my child is born to the day he moves out. I honestly wish I was that kind of scrapbooker. Since I am not but I love the art of scrapbooking, I always seek ways to scrapbook on my level. My level? Short and sweet yet full of creative fun. I found following poem on www.dennydavis.net. With this poem, I am going to make a 26 page scrapbook. I can handle that, what about you? I use each line from the poem as the header for each of my pages. The pictures I will use will correlate as much as possible. I do not feel one must correlate the pictures exactly as the theme of the book overall will be the ABC’s of parenting. Each page will have a simple layout with bright basic colors. I think one only needs 3-5 pictures on each page. I suppose you can highlight one or two but I have a tendency to use an odd number of pictures due to the layouts I enjoy using. Be creative and have fun!
