Your adventure begins when you arrive at the airport in Phoenix. An Adventures by Disney representative will meet you there, see to your luggage and then transport you to Sedona with a stop on the way at Montezuma’s Castle. Your guides will check you in at the Amara Resort and Spa and you can take some time to relax before joining your fellow adventurers for a welcome barbeque with a Native Animal presentation and other entertainment.
Your second day begins with an off-road Jeep tour of the canyons of Dry Creek Basin and a visit to the old Van Deren Cabin. Next you’ll explore Native American ruins before enjoying a picnic lunch and then exploring the Sedona Heritage Museum. Your afternoon and dinner will be free for exploring Sedona or enjoying the hotel’s amenities.
Day three begins with a hike through Red Rock State Park with a ranger. Lunch is on your own before you visit the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Then you’ll check into the Grand Hotel and enjoy dinner and a show with your fellow adventurers.
Your fourth day begins with a privately guided Grand Canyon driving and walking adventure. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore and enjoy the area as you wish.
On day five you’ll travel to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, have lunch at Gouldings Lodge at Monument Valley, then enjoy an off-road excursion of Monument Valley. Dinner on day five will be Red Cliffs Lodge.
On your sixth day you’ll go to Moab and visit Arches National Park. Don’t forget your camera! Lunch and the afternoon are on your own in Moab. Kids have a special dinner planned this evening so that adults can enjoy some private time or even a romantic dinner of their own. The whole family can meet up later for Disney movie night.
Feel free to sleep in on day seven before joining the group for lunch at the hotel and river rafting on the Colorado River. You’ll then have some time to relax at the hotel before meeting your fellow adventurers for a cowboy cookout and entertainment.
On your eighth day, you’ll have breakfast at the hotel before being transported to the airport at Grand Junction, Colorado for your trip home.
