Are you torn between taking an exciting Adventure by Disney to an exotic location and relaxing on a luxurious floating city on a Disney cruise? Don’t worry, you needn’t choose between the two.
Adventures by Disney offers three different cruise options, all being tours through warm European regions. Sail through the Mediterranean on one of two offered trips or explore the historic Spanish city of Barcelona while retiring to the sea at night.
Like many other multiple AbD trips to the same area, the main difference between the two Mediterranean Magic Family Cruise Vacations is length, and thus the amount of areas visited. Let’s first look at the longer of the two.
If you have enough time to spend 10 or 11 nights cruising the Mediterranean, then AbD will whisk you to such locales as Barcelona, the French Riviera, Naples, Malta, and Tunisia. You’ll learn to make local specialties in cooking lessons in Tunis and Naples, take privately guided tours through various Italian cities, watch glassblowers at their craft, see Grace Kelly’s apartments in Monaco, and eat and view your fill of delicious food and gorgeous vistas.
Those who might only be able to take a week’s vacation can still enjoy a 7-night Mediterranean cruise from AbD. The shorter amount of time limits the trip to mostly just locations in France and Italy, though there are still quick tours of Barcelona and Monaco.
The 7-night tour also contains one stop omitted from the longer Mediterranean cruise: a day-long tour of Mallorca, a Spanish island province. Shop your way through the island’s capital Palma, and relax for lunch in the seaside village of Soller.
Even those with little time to spare have an AbD cruise option: the 4-day 3-night Barcelona Escape Family Vacation. You might not sail through most of the Mediterranean, but you’ll have much more time to enjoy Barcelona than those on the other Mediterranean cruises.
Learn the secrets behind the unique towers of the La Sagrada Familia basilica on a private tour, imagine yourself traveling through time as you explore the ancient cobblestoned streets of the city’s Gothic Quarter, be an archeologist for a day at the Benedictine monk retreat of Monsterrat, and view beautiful Spanish architecture in the little villages tucked away within Barcelona.
Guests on an Adventures by Disney cruise still are privy to all the luxuries of a normal Disney cruise. You’ll sail on the Disney Magic, which is equipped with pools, play areas for kids, youth rooms, multiple restaurants, nightclubs, and more.
In addition, travellers aboard either of the two Mediterranean cruises will spend one day at sea where they can relax and afford themselves of the on-board entertainment. Special options include learning details of the areas they’re visiting in a reception with the ship’s historian, or for those on the 10- or 11-night cruise, taking an animation lesson learning to draw a Disney character.
