You’ll begin with your arrival in Rome where you’ll be met by an Adventures by Disney representative who will escort you to your transfer vehicle and assist with your luggage. Then you’ll be transported to the Ambasciatori Palace hotel where your guide will have already checked you in. That evening you’ll attend a welcome reception and dinner at the hotel where you’ll meet your fellow adventurers.
On your second day, you’ll begin with a walking tour of Rome from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountain. After your tour you’ll enjoy authentic Roman pizza for lunch. Dinner that evening will be on your own.
Day three will begin with you boarding a motorcoach bound for Sorrento. You’ll stop for lunch near Pompeii and then stop in Pompeii to see how Mt. Vesuvius preserved remnants of this ancient city. Later you’ll check in to the Hilton Sorrento and then enjoy dinner with your fellow adventurers. A classic Disney movie will be screened for the kids so that parents can have some quiet time alone.
Day four will begin with a walking tour of Sorrento with a local expert. Then you’ll visit La Galatea Farm and learn how to harvest lemons, olive and fruit and then make an authentic Italian pizza in the farmhouse kitchen. You’ll get to eat your creations for lunch! The afternoon and dinner are on your own in Sorrento.
On day five you’ll go to Positano and enjoy this fishing town overlooking the Mediterranean. Then you’ll board a private boat and tour the Amalfi Coast before a family lunch. After lunch you’ll tour the Paper Mill Museum and see how paper is handcrafted there. Dinner will be on your own in Sorrento.
On your sixth day, you’ll take a ferry ride to Capri and explore the legendary island. Lunch will be on your own. Then you’ll take a private cruise around the island and have the opportunity to do some swimming. That evening you’ll enjoy a farewell dinner in fine Disney style.
On your last day in Italy, you’ll breakfast at the hotel and then be transported to the airport for your flight home.
