Aloha Pork Chop Skillet and Saucy and BBQ Chicken & Potato Skillet

I just received these two recipes from Kraft today in email. I have not had a chance to try either one yet, but just looking over them, they have two of my requirements – they sound delicious and easy!

Aloha Pork Chop Skillet

For this recipe, you will need four bone-in pork chops, vegetable oil, one red bell pepper, one yellow bell pepper, one 8-ounce can of pineapple chunks, chicken broth, Catalina salad dressing, garlic powder, and white rice.

Heat the 2 teaspoons of oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the pork chops. Let them cook in each side about 5 minutes until browned. While that is cooking, cut your peppers into chunks. Add the peppers, can of pineapple (with the juice), 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1/4 cup of Catalina dressing, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder. Stir well then let that come to a boil. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of white rice. Reduce the heat to low and let this simmer for 5 minutes or until the rice is done.

Saucy BBQ Chicken & Potato Skillet

For this recipe, you will need 10 new red potatoes (halved), vegetable oil, four boneless and skinless chicken breast halves, one medium onion, frozen peas, chicken broth, barbecue sauce, and Catalina dressing.

Cut 10 red potatoes in half and slice your onion. Place the potatoes in a microwavable dish and cover. Cook in the microwave on high for 15 minutes. While that is cooking, heat 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add your chicken and the onion slices. Let that cook for five minutes, and then turn over the chicken. Let it cook another five minutes or until brown. Add the potatoes, 2 cups of frozen peas, 1/4 cup of chicken broth, 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce, and 1/4 cup of Catalina dressing. Let that simmer on low for 5 minutes or until the peas and chicken are done.
