Are You Going to BlogHer ’07?

Have you been to BlogHer.org?

Following the hugely successful first annual BlogHer Business Conference in 2005, BlogHer.org set up shop to address a question that had been hanging in the air until that time. Where are all the women bloggers?

They’re at BlogHer, of course.

More than sixty contributing editors give you their take on what’s hot across the blogosphere, tackling topics from business, career, personal finance, feminism, technology, politics and news. Oh yeah … and home and family too.

BlogHer is a girls – only club filled with some of the freshest, most intelligent female voices the web has to offer.

In addition to the editorial staff, BlogHer maintains a blogroll of female voices from across the blogosphere organized into 20 different topic categories.

Blogger Jarah Euston remarked, “BlogHer’s like a fairy godmother mafia; everyone is just so darned supportive (and smart)!”

Women bloggers across the web are invited to take part in the BlogHer 2007 conferences, which will take place March 22nd and 23rd, 2007, in New York, New York, and July 27th and 28th, 2007, in Chicago, Illinois. This year’s theme is “A World of Difference.”

Elisa Camahort from BlogHer writes, “BlogHer’s annual event continues to be dedicated to bringing bloggers together, and to celebrate the fact that although there are, in fact, many blogospheres, we can find common ground. Programming and activities will be designed not only to help birds of a feather flock together, but also to help bloggers learn from those outside their own flock. By celebrating A World of Difference we hope to make BlogHer ’07 a place where you can both meet your virtual friends face-to-face, and a place to broaden your blogging horizons and learn from the collective wisdom of the entire BlogHer community.”

Registrations are currently being accepted for both conferences. Without a doubt, if you are a BlogHer, it’s an event you won’t want to miss.
