Author Interview – Rachel Ann Nunes

rachelToday our featured author is best-selling LDS women’s fiction author Rachel Ann Nunes. Rachel, thank you for taking the time to visit with us today; I know you’re busy. Let’s get right down to the first question: how many books have you written?

Ah, tricky question. Do you mean written or published?

How about both?

I’ve published twenty-five books so far, but I have two more in to my publisher that are on their way. I have another manuscript almost finished. Plus I have four fantasy novels finished that I’ve never done anything with, and a half-finished last day scenario novel that takes place in South America several decades after a nuclear war where there are several factions fighting for survival and the remains of technology. Hmm, I haven’t thought about that novel for a few years. I think I’d like to finish it now. Maybe I’ll work it in! I always have at least three novels in my head that I’d like to write.

How long have you been publishing?

My first book was accepted in 1995. It was released ten months later in 1996, a month after I had my fourth child. I had a book and a baby in one year. That was an interesting time. I remember going to book signings and hurrying home to feed my baby.

What are the titles of the twenty-five books you have published?

“Ariana: The Making of a Queen”

“Ariana: A Gift Most Precious”

“Ariana: A New Beginning”

“Ariana: A Glimpse of Eternity”

“A Bid for Love” (Originally entitled “Love to the Highest Bidder” –#1 in my adventure romance series)

“Framed for Love” (#2 in my adventure romance series)

“Love on the Run” (#3 in my adventure romance series)
