Keeping Kids Busy Indoors

Shake It Off

Today I read a story about an old donkey who had fallen into his farmer’s well one day. The farmer fretted and stewed about what to do with the animal. Ultimately he decided that it was far too much work to get the donkey out, the animal was old and he was planning on covering up the well anyway. So he along with some neighbors grabbed a few shovels and began throwing dirt into the well. The donkey realized what was happening and cried out pitifully. As a mother it is natural to put our children’s needs above our own. While there is nothing wrong with this, it is important to remember to take care of your needs as well. Saving Little By Little

As a single parent money is always tight. It’s hard to make ends meet with only one income these days. I’ve mentioned many times in previous blogs that I am currently a full time student. The university I attend is about a 40 minute drive from our home. I was putting 60 miles a day on my car and was driving back and forth five days a week.
