Baby Girl Power

Girls rule in Hollywood!

It’s a girl and a girl… and another girl for some of Tinseltown’s biggest names.

Earlier today actress Jennifer Garner and her actor hubby Ben Affleck welcomed a second daughter into their family.

According to reports, Garner gave birth to a baby girl at a Los Angeles hospital and both mom and baby are doing well.

The superstar couple has yet to release their newborn’s name. However, rumor has it that the acting pair’s 3-year-old daughter Violet had a hand in naming her new sibling.

The former “Alias” star and her Oscar-winning hubby have made it no secret that they love children and aimed to add to their family following Violet’s birth.

Actress Rebecca Romijn and actor Jerry O’Connell are well on their way to making good on their promise to extend their family as well.

The pair are now the proud parents to not one, but two baby girls.

In a statement released yesterday O’Connell revealed that Romijn gave birth to fraternal twin daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose O’Connell and Charlie Tamara Tulip O’Connell on Sunday, December 28th in California.

Dolly was named in honor of Romijn’s pal Dolly Parton while Charlie got her moniker from her uncle Charlie (Jerry’s famous brother) and aunt Tamara (Rebecca’s sister).

The 36-year-old actress made headlines a few months ago when she appeared on the cover of Page Six magazine and revealed that the twins were not conceived via in vitro fertilization as had been previously reported in other publications. The “Ugly Betty” star did confide that she tried Clomid to help with her fertility issues, but in the end Romijn said that the babies were the result of Chinese acupuncture.

Dolly and Charlie are the first children for the acting duo who married at their Calabasas, California, ranch in 2007.
