Baby Shower Gift Idea: eMealz

After the birth of my third and fourth child, I was blessed enough to be a member of a loving church. They are so loving and understanding that after a birth of a baby the women get together and bring you dinner for the first week or two. I have to say the experience was wonderful. Not only are the women of my church loving they are great cooks. I felt like I was at a restaurant every night. Not to mention how grateful my family was to have hot meals every night without lifting a finger. Dinner is necessary but it can place a certain amount of stress on a new mom. I highly recommend making a few freezer meals for a mom when she first comes home from the hospital. She will be very appreciative.

Once a few weeks goes by there are still rough spots when it comes to the family meal. Since a mom cannot expect a lifetime of dinner being brought to her home she needs to learn to adjust. Recently, I was introduced to a website that would make this transition for her easy. It would also make a great gift! The website is called eMealz. eMealz will do all everything but shop and cook for you.

How does it work?

You log in and pick the meal plan that suits your family’s needs. You can pick by family size, store of choice or diet. Then you simply print out the sheet of meals and recipes along with a complete shopping list for dinner for the whole week. The recipes are easy to prepare and use items that will stick to your budget. Once you print off your lists you will have dinner done for a week!

Of course you may run across recipes that may not suit your family. In that case, you can substitute to suit your needs or just keep on hand some of the previous recipes to replace any new ones you are not happy with.

Check it out and be the hero of the next baby shower!
