Become a Fan and Get Free Food

Many of your favorite restaurants and fast food places will gladly give you free food just because you are a loyal fan. There are three different ways to establish your fan status and get the fan privileges, from free coffee or pastry to a free sandwich or meal.

The Punch Card

The next time you grab something to eat, ask the server or the cashier if the establishment has a punch card, a sticker card or other loyalty card. When you fulfill the number of required visits, you’ll be eligible for free food.

You can often combine family orders on to one card. With a family of five, we qualified for a free milkshake at a 50s themed restaurant after our first visit.

Just make sure to keep the card in a convenient place, such as in your purse or wallet, so you want forget to get credit for your visits.

The Facebook Fan Page

Get to know and like your favorite haunts when they have pages on Facebook. If you become a fan of the page, chances are that you’ll be entitled to special privileges, including coupons for free entrees, snacks, drinks and more.

Most fan sites will announce new promotions in their news feed, another reason to like them as soon as you find them.

The Website Sign Up

Three sites off of the top of my head that give you free food or coupons for free food when you sign up for their clubs or newsletter include Chick-fil-a, Dairy Queen and Panera Bread.

Look up the websites of your favorite place or simply google the name of the restaurant with the word “free” and see what comes up.

You’ll often get an initial freebie just for signing up, plus news of additional offers as they become available.
