The Best Western Lake Buena Vista hotel is one of the Downtown Disney hotels that are not owned by Walt Disney World but part of an arrangement that considers them Disney World resorts. Reservations for these resorts can be made through the Disney Reservations office at (407) W-Disney like every other Disney resort and guests have the luxury of being able to take advantage of the Disney World transportation system from the doorstep of these hotels.
Downtown Disney hotels offer the following to all of their guests:
* Free transportation to all Disney World parks
* Disney admission tickets available for purchase
* Advance tee times and discounts at the Disney golf courses
* Priority seating for Disney World dinner shows and theme park restaurants
The Best Western Lake Buena Vista has 325 guest rooms with either a king-sized bed and a queen-sized pull out couch or two queen-sized beds. Each room has a private balcony and the higher floors have views of Disney World. Rooms provide free voice mail, coffee and tea, an in-room safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, cable and pay-per-view, and AM/FM clock radios. Refrigerators are available for a fee of $5 per day for a small one and $10 per day for a large one. While room service is not available 24 hours, it is available from 7 am to midnight.
Some other amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, game room, playground, free newspaper, babysitting and child care, laundry, free parking, 24-hour security and a doctor on call.
The restaurant in the hotel serves both breakfast and dinner. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and pizza. The hotel also has a Pizza Hut and a lounge.
Overall, this hotel has great services and rates as well as a Downtown Disney location that is especially convenient to Pleasure Island.
