If you’ve been trying to lose weight for a while, chances are you’ve heard of LipoDissolve treatments. Supposedly, you can go see a doctor and he’ll inject a chemical into your fattiest fat places that will simply melt the fat away. Yep, just melt it away.
Don’t be a sucker.
One company that promised this magic fat meltaway injection is Go Fig Inc. This is a very interesting choice in names when you consider what has happened to some of its patients.
But first, let’s use a little bit of logic to examine the promise of lipodissolve treatments. The injection promises to “melt” the fat. That would involve the chemically induced breakdown of cells. What could do that? Considering the human body is about creating and preserving cells, chances are you would need a potentially hazardous chemical injected into your body to “melt” the fat. But let’s think a little further into the process here. Once this hazardous chemical melts the fat, where does the fat, and the chemical go? They would have to circulate through your body and be filtered out with other waste products. Think about it. You inject a poison into your body and then you have that poison and a lot of newly liquefied fat coursing through your bloodstream. How good can that be for the body?
Former clients of the now bankrupt Go Fig not only experienced pain, swelling and ugly nodules but some are experiencing even more serious problems. One woman lost more than 20 pounds. One might say “congratulations”, but this woman lost the weight because she can’t stop vomiting. She also suffers from severe back pain and has had to have her gallbladder removed.
So, when you consider going to a doctor for Mesotherapy or LipoDissolve consider this: is a few inches of fat loss really worth poisoning yourself?
Think about it.
