I have the perfect suggestion for a holiday video for your child. “Blue’s First Holiday” allows your child to share the magic of the holidays with everyone’s favorite dog — Blue. This DVD has four episodes, including two from the VHS video “Blue’s Big Holiday.” I am sure that it will become a holiday favorite for your child as it has become with mine.
Blue’s First Holiday
Spend a wonderful holiday with Joe, Blue, and the rest of the gang as they watch home videos to find out when their story began. Follow the time when Steve first met Blue to the time they first played Blue’s Clues. Joe even gets a special phone call from Steve who is away at college.
Joe’s Surprise Party
All of the friends in Blue’s neighborhood are helping Blue plan a surprise birthday party for Joe. While Mailbox asks Joe to help him outside, Blue, Tickety Tock, and the rest of their friends help set the table, wrap presents, and make the birthday cake. Your child can play Blue’s Clues with Periwinkle and everyone else to find out what else has to be done.
Blue’s Big Holiday
Blue and Steve are celebrating the holidays by making a special quilt. Everyone is adding their own patches to make it special, but Blue is having a hard time deciding what she wants to add. Your child can learn all about Chanukah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa while playing Blue’s Clues to help Steve figure out what patch Blue wants to add to the quilt.
A Snowy Day
It’s snowing outside and Blue and Steve want to play. Your child will explore snowflake patterns with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper and Skidoo into a calendar to help match winter pictures. Your child can play Blue’s Clues to help figure out what Blue wants to do once she gets out in the snow.
This DVD features four fantastic episodes of “Blue’s Clues” that you and your child can enjoy during the holidays or anytime. My daughter has been asking for this DVD on a daily basis for the last week, so we are certainly enjoying it. I think your family will, too.
“Blue’s First Holiday” is available from most major retailers, including Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
