Can you be overdue with twins?
French newspapers are reporting that Angelina Jolie will deliver her twins on Tuesday.
Numerous sources at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, where the actress was admitted on June 29th, say Brangelina’s twins will be welcomed into the world in just three short days.
According to the paper, doctors were initially planning to induce Jolie on Monday, but since July 14th is Bastille Day (a French holiday) the procedure was pushed back a day.
There have been so many false reports associated with Jolie’s pregnancy and pending delivery that I’m not sure I buy this latest rumor.
What’s more, unless there is a serious medical condition causing them to do so I can’t imagine a team of doctors would willing induce a woman pregnant with twins.
We’ll see what happens.
In the meantime, the world is also waiting to see if reports that the superstar couple is adding another child to the mix (in addition to the yet-to-be born twins) are in fact true.
According to tabloid reports, Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt have applied to adopt a child from China.
The National Enquirer is reporting that the handsome and generous couple was so moved by the plight of children orphaned during May’s devastating earthquake in China that they immediately contacted government officials telling them they wanted to adopt a needy child from the region.
A source tells the National Enquirer, “Angie’s devastated over the earthquake that occurred in China, she has been in constant touch with relief workers as part of her U.N. involvement – and even got her hands on photos of a few orphaned kids.”
The source goes on to say that Jolie and Pitt have offered to take in two orphans if they are siblings.
If the adoption reports turn out to be true the child would be the seventh member of the Jolie-Pitt household. The dazzling duo already has three adopted children, 6-year-old Maddox, 4-year-old Pax, 3-year-old Zahara, as well as their biological two-year-old daughter Shiloh.
