Well, it’s official… Britney Spears is single again. What’s that you say—you blinked and didn’t realize that her relationship with model Issac Cohen was over? OOOOHHH, you didn’t realize that she was even involved with the 25-year-old K-Fed look-alike to begin with. Not to worry. That’s what I’m here for.
The end of Spears’s short romance means she will likely be without a suitor on Valentine’s Day, but before we tackle that conundrum let’s review what the ex-“Mickey Mouse Show” star has been up to since my last Britney blog:
January 2007—Spears and Cohen make their first public appearance together (albeit probably not on purpose). The pair was spotted power boating together off Marina Del Rey, California. The next night they turned up at the W Hotel’s Whiskey Blue bar in Westwood.
Two weeks later PEOPLE magazine reported that the couple spent a lavish weekend in Las Vegas, where they allegedly spent “romantic nights” at the $40,000-a-night, two-story Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at The Palms. In the days, nights and early morning hours that followed the two were photographed holding hands at various L.A. eateries and snuggling at area nightclubs.
Initially, the paparazzi compared Cohen to Spears’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, because, well, they bare a striking resemblance to one another. Both sport groomed stubble, baggy jeans, and greasy hair. But Cohen’s friends recently told USA Today their pal is different from Federline in at least one respect: “He’s not out to be a rapper or a dancer or an actor or anything else right now.”
It also appears he’s not out to be Brit’s next husband either. According to his agent, Cohen decided to end the relationship.
“They’re both busy with their careers,” Cohen’s agent told PEOPLE. “She just got out of her marriage and she has two kids to take care of. Her plate is full, and the same with him.”
As for Valentine’s Day, here’s my suggestion Britney: Spend the day with the two guys in your life who are 100 times cuter than Kevin and Issac combined—-your sons!
