And you though that Lindsay was the only one with problems… Using the line: “Oops! She did it again,” seems a bit trite at this point, but it pretty much sums up what happened a couple of days ago when Britney Spears voluntarily spilled her guts to OK! Magazine.
The ugly incident is now making headlines around the world.
According to the magazine’s editor, staff members reportedly “spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad.”
The statement comes a day after TMZ.com reported that the pop princess self-arranged a photo shoot and interview with OK! and basically, it was a complete disaster.” Magazine sources say Spears’ behavior during the interview was “nothing less than a meltdown.”
She was, according to witnesses, “completely out of it” during the shoot. What’s more, the pictures are reportedly “so bad” the magazine’s big wigs wouldn’t publish them due to “legal reasons.” TMZ reports that publishing them could “kill Britney’s career.” (Apparently, we are to assume from that comment that her career isn’t dead yet.)
According to sources that were at the interview, the 25-year-old singer and mother to two young sons was “extremely erratic.” Reports also say Spears’ “eyes rolled back in her head at one point, causing her to look half dead.” Even stranger, there have been numerous reports that the former Mouseketeer expressed fear that the ceiling was going to cave in on her during her interview.
Oh, but that’s nothing compared to the reports that Spears had some, shall we say, “issues with hygiene” on the set as well. According to magazine sources, at one point, the pop star requested to dine on some fried chicken. But instead of using the accompanying napkins Spears’ reportedly wiped her hands on a Gucci dress worth thousands of dollars that she was wearing for the shoot. Witnesses say the former Mrs. Federline stained the frock with grease, then took it off to wipe up a mess her new puppy made on the floor.
I wonder if she does the same thing at home?
Spears already completed a rehab program for substance abuse, but just where does one go to be rehabilitated for repulsive behavior?
