What is a blog designer?

A blog designer simply designs the format and look of a blog. Blog designers design as much as the entire skin of the blog to simply a blog button or header.

Offer Packages to Reach More Customers:

Not everyone can afford a complete blog re-do. Many just need a header or a button. Make sure you offer different packages to all needs and budgets.

Policies to Consider:

How many revisions are you willing to make? Most designers will offer 2 to 3 revisions.

You may want to get half down to begin the project and second half before once the work is completed and approved.

Consider your methods of payment. Paypal is the standard since you can process checks and credit cards even from those without a Paypal address.

Make sure your clients know you will use the design as part of your portfolio. You may want to link from your site to the sites of those you designed.

Tips:

Since blog designing is bringing a blogger’s vision to a visual look, you will have to get to know your client. Ask your client to pick out several blogs they like. Ask them what they like and do not like about the blog. Ask them what they like and do not like about their current blog. Ask what vision they have for their blog and their blog’s future. Also, have your client tell you a bit about the audience of her blog. The more you can find out the easier it will be to design a blog she will love. You may want to have a page on your site with different font styles for the client to choose from.
