Butter Tart Squares
An old-fashioned kind of dessert. Excellent served with fresh fruit.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbs granulated sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1/4 cup melted margarine
1 cup raisins
1 tbs vinegar
1 tsp all-purpose flour
DIRECTIIONS:
1. Mix first 3 ingredients in food processor or mixing bowl until crumbly. Press into a greased 9″ square pan.
2. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until light golden color.
3. Beat eggs and brown sugar together with a whisk until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients.
4. Mix well and spread over base.
5. Bake 25-30 minutes longer or just until set and golden .

Cook: 40 minutes
