I have a few nieces that are right in the middle of those pre-teen years. My daughter is still too young for that, but she thinks she is as old as they are. Something I always struggle with is what to get them for birthdays and Christmas. I ran across some adorable ideas recently on www.twopeasinabucket.com.
Did you know that the American Girl brand makes great craft supplies for this age group? I didn’t. Maybe this is common knowledge, but what a great idea for Moms that scrapbook to share their fun with their daughters with one of their favorite brands….American Girl!
They have tons of stuff that even I would use on my pages of my 4-year-old daughter. Like these adorable Clear Doodle Stamps
They have ink pads that are perfect for young girls including lots of bright, fun colors!
Included in this collection are punches that have animals, stars, and say things like friends. There are endless possibilities of punches your American Girl would love.
Another one of my favorite ideas for a gift is the Learn to Scrapbook Kit. Why not get your daughter started with a kit like this so she can scrap her own photos right along with you. There is nothing that boosts self-esteem in young girls like creating something she can be proud of.
If you love to create cards, buy your daughter this Card Making Kit. She will have endless hours of fun creating cards that she can give out to her friends!
For an altered project, I just love this Pillow Making Kit where you can make some adorable owl pillows for your daughters bedroom. I do not sew, but any young girl would probably love to learn how with her Mom!
There are other things your daughter will love like fun stickers, glitter pen sets, and things to make bracelets, or a decorate mirror for her room. As Mothers, we are always looking for ways to connect with our daughters. I think I might be looking into some of these fun products for my nieces this Christmas. Why not be the coolest Aunt or Mom around?
