CANI is a Key to success.
I picked up a book today and began to read it, and realized I should spend some time on CANI! When I waned to get ahead in Discovery Toys, my upline always said do 10 to 15 minutes of CANI a day. Thanks Julie! This really was good and important advice.
CANI can be found in a few different forms:
1.) Books. There are a ton of resources on the bookshelves at your library or local bookstore which can make a difference in your career. The nice thing about books is you can read them when you want and at your own pace. Plus, you can go back to them, highlight and bookmark important tips and techniques and share them with others on your team. You will look for both motivational and strategy type books.
2.) Tapes/CD’s. I inherited some tapes from another consultant who retired in my area. One day I popped one in on my way to a party. That month I began to notice a difference in my sales and activity. Not only was it motivational, it gave me some great new ideas and advice! If you are an audio learner or spend a lot of time in the car, this is a great resource. Plus, you can replay them. I learn something new every time I listen to a favorite coach on CD.
3.) Seminars. If you are hands on and need to “be there” to learn, find out what seminars and training meetings are in your area. If you are in direct sales, your team may have local meetings. Otherwise, look for small business groups. Often they have guest speakers. Conventions can be another great opportunity to network and learn from the best in the industry.
4.) Websites/online. Congratulations! You are getting CANI by reading my Blog, well, that is if you are taking away things you can use in your business or personal life to help you. Websites, message boards and chats can be another resource. However, be careful not to spend get lost playing before you have done your work.
