In everyone’s life there are people that are important, and it is high time you capture the complete person on your scrapbooking pages. It does not matter if you are a parent who mostly scrapbooks their child or children, or if you are a single guy or gal and scrapbooking the other people in your life. It is all significant no matter the stage in your life.
Capturing the complete person is important as important as capturing the events that these people partake in, which is what we as scrapbookers do traditionally. This is not limited to the people in your life, but also includes you and your complete person. Many scrapbooker’s do an ‘All About Me’ album which is similar, however you can achieve the same effect just in a few layouts.
This is the start of a new series which includes journaling your complete self and the others around you. It doesn’t matter where you place the layouts in your albums, but it does matter that you go about capturing these unique and exclusive traits and other characteristics.
We will begin on a road to capturing personalities, habits, mannerisms, abilities and talents, reactions from those we are doing layouts about and their character traits.
While I still do a Saturday Challenge series here on the Scrapbooking Blog, I did not want to make this article series a part of those layout challenges, because I feel that this is an important task for all scrapbooker’s to take the time to do, and not just those that wish to participate in the various challenges.
Capturing the whole relationship between you and others, is an important part of scrapbooking. This includes getting to know the people in your albums on a more personal level through your layouts. Finding out what you love about them, and the things that drive you crazy, can only make you closer.
