When You are an Unsatisfied Consumer

Since I am trying to branch out as a freelance writer, I decided to purchase some print-your-own business cards. I went to Wal-Mart and chose a pack of 100 cards (laid out on sheets of 10 each) made by Ampad. I had never heard of them before, but the package had a template number listed for use in Windows, so I decided to give them a try. I am not sure what went wrong! I designed my cards just the way I wanted them and attempted to print based on the template I had used. When I first printed them, … Continue reading

I was on my way to one of the local grocery stores that had just opened in a brand new shopping center – so new that some of the spaces are not even occupied yet. I … Continue reading

I am not even the current user of the service and I already feel like switching to satellite! Here is my story. My husband got a job that required us to move to Maryland. Because we had not yet been able to set up our entire move, … Continue reading

Trouble with the Cable Company: Part II

So far, you know that we had massive trouble just with having the cable installed. Here is what has happened since then. See also Trouble with the Cable Company: Part I. After my husband received the first bill, he called me with the account information so that I could set up the online bill pay service. I set up the service with our checking account information and set the automated pay to recur on each day the bill is due. Well, no one told us that it takes up to two billing cycles for the information to go through! I … Continue reading
