Fall Special Offers

With a new season comes a new batch of special offers at the Disney parks. Disney World is surprisingly light on new deals this quarter, so let’s take a look at it first. The main deal being pushed by Disney World right now is a free dining plan. Guests who purchase a non-discounted Magic Your Way room and ticket package at certain Disney World hotels get either a free dining plan or a free quick-service dining plan. The difference depends on the hotel; the bigger dining plan comes with the nicer (moderate, deluxe, or deluxe villa) hotels and the quick-service … Continue reading

Summer Disneyland Deals

For the most part the Disney Parks post their special offers on the relevant dedicated pages, which I’ve examined here for you before. Occasionally Disney has other promotions going on that may or may not make it onto the Special Offers page, and today I’m going to cover those. Over the past two weeks the official Disney Parks blog has announced a variety of summertime Disneyland deals, and not all of them are viewable on the park’s Special Offers site. One is very similar to a deal I covered last time: if you book a Disneyland vacation by this Friday, … Continue reading

Disney Deals Abroad

Just as the domestic Disney parks periodically update and change their special offers page, so do the international Disney parks. It’s time to take a look at the summer deals for Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. Hong Kong Disneyland has some special hotel and ticket packages, just like Disney World and Disneyland, but the deals don’t quite work the way that they do for the domestic parks. You don’t have to make your reservations by a certain date for a particular time; these packages are simply on offer from now until July 15. Four options are available. The first … Continue reading

Spring Special Offers at Disney

Now that we’re firmly into spring, it’s time for the latest round of special offers at the Disney parks. Today I’ll focus on the two domestic parks. To change it up a little bit, I’ll lead with the Disneyland deals. Like usual, there are discounted rates for Disneyland resort hotels available if tickets are booked by a certain date. This time, if you make a reservation for a Disneyland stay by May 28, you’ll enjoy a cheaper stay at any one of the three Disneyland resort hotels: the Paradise Pier, Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or the Disneyland Hotel. Prices … Continue reading

Buy Cheese, Save on Ice Shows

Here’s a duo I’d never guess: ice skating and cheese. It doesn’t involve the skaters chowing down on dairy products while performing or dressing up like giant blocks of cheddar, or the introduction of a new snack to the skating arena. Instead, it’s a promotional partnership between Disney On Ice and Kraft Singles. The two mega companies, which both market material for families, have teamed up to bring consumers discounted tickets on Disney On Ice shows held between now and May 31 of this year. Getting the savings is easy: all you have to do is buy a packet of … Continue reading

Special Offers for the New Year

With a new year comes a new crop of Disney Parks Special Offers. First let’s look at the deals for Disney World. As always, one of the primary deals involves booking your Disney World vacation early. This time around, you can accrue 30% savings for a spring Orlando vacation if you make your reservations by February 13. Of course, not all of the savings go as high as 30%. Rooms at Disney Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels booked by Feb. 13 net guests a 30% discount. The less fancy of a hotel you choose to stay at the smaller the deal … Continue reading

Special Military Deals for Disney Parks

In 2011 the Disney parks are launching a special military discount campaign and to prove their commitment to the idea, the specials actually start now. The official Disney parks blog recently published details on its 2011 military discounts, which are currently in effect and run through September 28, 2011. The specifics differ a bit between Disney World and Disneyland. Let’s start with the original Anaheim park. At Disneyland active or retired personnel of any branch of the military OR (but not AND) their spouses have the option of purchasing special park-hopper tickets. The Disney Military Promotional 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets … Continue reading

International Disney Deals

A little while ago I gave you information on special discounts being offered at Disney World and Disneyland. Now I’ve come back with similar deals made available for two of Disney’s international parks. If you’re making a trip to Disneyland Paris anytime soon, you might want to consider some of these special packages. Depending on when you’re booking your trip, you have a chance to receive a free day and night at one of the resort’s hotels, either 6 days and 5 nights for the price of 5 and 4, or 5 days and 4 nights for the price of … Continue reading

Disney Vacation Discounts

If you’re thinking of taking a Disney vacation in the near future, then there’s an essential web site you shouldn’t miss when doing your planning: Disney Special Offers. Part of the official Disney Parks web site, Disney Special Offers has all the details on Disney’s latest vacation discounts for those looking to make a trip to one of the parks. Right now the primary featured deal is a free Disney World Dining Plan. If you’re heading out to Disney World anytime between August 15 and December 21 of this year, you’ll want to check it out. If you purchase a … Continue reading

Disney’s Magical Express Ruffles Feathers

Disney’s Magical Express is a shuttle and check-in service that has been available at Orlando International Airport for nearly three years now. Apparently, it is so popular and luring the business of so many tourists that other companies are really getting their feathers ruffled. Rumblings of an antitrust lawsuit are even going around. In 2007, Disney transported more than 2.1 million passengers from the airport to its resorts and cruise ships. That is a significant increase from 2006. Peak seasons see the Magical Express buses to Disney World and Port Canaveral carrying over 12,000 passengers per day. During September of … Continue reading
