Wii Can Do It

Did you hear all the hullabaloo about the new game consoles that became available in the last couple of months of 2006? One of those gaming consoles as labeled Wii (pronounced ‘we’). The Nintendo Wii utilizes wireless controllers that take advantage of all the bobbing about most game players indulge in when they are playing a video game. In fact, it’s always been something of a joke in our household that leaning hard right when you are playing a driving game doesn’t really help your game playing. We just do it because our bodies know that is the motion we’re … Continue reading

My Fitness DVD Wish List

Okay, so it’s time for me to add to my own wish list for potential present ideas and one of my favorite things to get at Christmas are new workouts to explore. So I spent some time on Amazon studying the different fitness DVDs out there and making a list and checking it twice. My husband laughed when I showed him the list because a couple of them seem like odd choices for me – but I thought I’d share my fitness wish list with you and suggest that you might want to take a look at what’s out there … Continue reading

Do You Have 30 Minutes? Why Not Try The Firm Cardio Sculpt Blaster?

I will admit I love to workout. I love how it makes me feel afterwards and I love how much better I sleep at night, even though I work out in the morning. I just love exercising. I will admit however, that I don’t love working out for long periods of time. I try to limit my workouts to less than an hour. I have two small children that I must tend to, so working out any longer than an hour, then trying to get ready for the day is almost impossible if my workout runs any longer than hour. … Continue reading

Many of you know if you have read my previous blogs in the fitness category that I am a Firm believer. I love The Firm workouts! Yet, call me crazy, I felt the need to work off that pizza I had eaten the night before. I knew I needed to do something, but I didn’t want to completely kill myself in the process. I looked at The … Continue reading

Technology’s Fitness Boom

I read a short story once when I was in junior high. It talked about the rapid takeover of technology and how eventually everything would be done via technology from ordering our food to paying our bills to shopping and yes, even to walking the dog. Well there’s a reason why they call it science fiction – because science fiction speculates on the future of science, as we know it. Well, that future is here now and our technology boom is reflected in all the great gadgets, gizmos and downloadable available for you to boost your own fitness levels. Let’s … Continue reading
