In Relief Society this past Sunday, we had ward conference. I always love the opportunity to hear the Stake leaders come and speak to us. Our Stake President is 38 years old and has been the stake president for almost 10 years now. He has a great perspective on things, and is very inspiring. The Spirit is always strong when he speaks. Is Your Life Too Noisy?

We had stake conference this past weekend, and as usual, my husband and I were dreading going with our three small children. It is always difficult to keep them quiet and happy for two straight hours. But, they did great, and I actually heard some of the talks! A Time of Transition

Yesterday was our Stake meeting to realign the ward boundaries in our stake. A lot of big changes took place. It was an exciting (although very long) meeting, and I am excited about the new changes. One thing I learned is that our ward was originally established in 1905. It is so amazing to be a part of a ward with such a history. LDS Worldwide Leadership Training Meeting

This past weekend I came down with a horrible cold. It peaked on Sunday, of course, making it where I missed my meetings. I was disappointed because I really do love attending church every Sunday. Much Ado About Nothing

As I mentioned before in my blog post, Tilling the Earth, our stakes were reorganized this past Sunday. Being very pregnant, I was planning on letting my husband attend the conference while I stayed home and kept my very swollen feet up, but I decided at the last minute to go. Visiting a Different Ward

When you are on vacation, you have a choice to make. You can take the time to attend church or you can skip it. It is really easy to find a ward in your area and attend the meeting. Tithing Settlement: A Time to Reflect on Blessings

This time of a year is one where we get to reflect on the blessings of tithing. Tithing is a commandment that we learn about in Malachi. We should pay ten percent of our earnings in tithing each year. Tithing settlement is the time where we tell the bishop if we were able to pay a full tithe or not.
