I will admit I was hesitant to see this one. You see, I love Katherine Patterson, and frankly, I never feel as if the movie could possibly come close to the book. “Snow Buddies” is a continuation of the famous Golden Retriever series that began years ago as “Air Bud” hit the media. After the dog had played several sports, the need to add more to the movies brought about the idea for puppies. In February, Tristi wrote a fantastic blog about The Jungle Book and this week, Disney’s opened the vault to re-release the film on DVD just in time to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the film’s release.
