It is Memorial Day weekend and what better way to remember the military than to give some of them homes? Tim McGraw, along with Chase and Operation Homefront are going to give homes to 25 veterans as a promotion for McGraw’s Brothers of the Sun summer tour. The United Service Organization (USO) and Chase are presenting the tour, which will also receive contributions from the Academy of Country Music’s ACM Lifting Lives program and the Premier Group on behalf of the North Carolina Furniture Manufacturers. Within hours of surviving a devastating earthquake that struck his city, the mayor of Pacentro, Italy called someone he hoped would render aid… Madonna. If his critics have their way Chris Brown will be spending a lot of quality time in a California jail. Quite a few things going on in the music world today. Rapper Coolio has pleaded not guilty to one felony drug charge and misdemeanor counts of battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on March 10 after screeners at the Los Angeles International Airport reportedly found drugs in his luggage. The battery charge was issued when Coolio grabbed the arm of a TSA official who was trying to search his luggage. If convicted, Coolio could face up to three years in prison. It’s a girl for Madonna! According to reports, the Material Mom will add another daughter to her brood of kids, which already includes 12-year-old Lourdes, 8-year-old Rocco, and 3-year-old David Banda.
