The Scrapbooker’s Purse

Recently, I had the pleasure of trying out a few new products. They were brought to us by Stone Creek Creations, Inc. Introducing The Trio. Imagine the fun you’ll have! It’s technically called the Krafter’s Purse. But with it’s new additions it’s become more than just a purse. They claim that once you craft with the Trio, you won’t craft without it. I have to agree. I enjoyed using it. I’m definitely getting one of my own, no doubt! The Krafter’s purse is not only affordable but extremely practical too. It has deep pockets and a roomy interior for storing … Continue reading

Product Review: The Scrappin’ Spin Tool Station

Lately I have been trying out some new scrapbook organizational tools to get a feel for what works for me and what doesn’t. Thankfully with many friends in the scrapbook industry I am able to test out products without having to buy everything myself. However, recently I splurged a little and tried out a new product. The Spinning Tool Station and Spinning Tool Station Jr. by Scrappin’ with Sweet Nothings caught my eye as an innovative way to organize. I came across it because I had received a little card in the mail about it and really thought it looked … Continue reading

Angie Pedersen and The Book of Me Series

Angie Pedersen, the author of The Book of Me series of books, spends her time not only encouraging people to scrapbook, but also to take time and record their own lives. All too often we scrapbookers forget to include ourselves in our own albums and layouts. Usually this is because we are the one behind the camera. Playing photographer is fun, however, it’s important to spend time including yourself in your layouts. It’s important to your future generations to know about you too. I’ve long admired Angie’s work. It helps that we have a lot in common, since she’s a … Continue reading

Product Review: The Scrap Rack

After carefully researching The Scrap Rack, it seems to have its pro’s and con’s in the scrapbooking world. I found that either scrapbooker’s loved it or hated it, and mostly they were for the same reasons. So before purchasing one for myself, I found someone who had one. I had a chance to use it and organize it. There are definitely some good points about the scrap rack, as well as some not so good points. Here is what I found. PRO’S Easy to assemble Expandable Collapses easily for storage Keeps supplies at your fingertips CON’S Very bulky, takes up … Continue reading

Recently I discovered Canvas On Demand. They turn your photos into stunning canvas art. It’s really pretty awesome. They can also create photo collages. Their collages are more than just a collection of images. They visually tell a story, commemorate an event or celebrate someone special. They are amazing and beautiful. A photo collage on canvas makes a wonderful anniversary gift, Mother’s Day gift or Father’s Day gift. How it works is, they take any picture and can create either a Photorealistic™ on a textured canvas or one done with Light BrushStokes™. In which the artist reproduces the canvas in … Continue reading

When a new scrapbook magazine is introduced, many scrapbookers cannot wait to get to the store and buy the first copy, some will even subscribe immediately (that’s me). Product Review: Legacy Craft

Well over a year ago, I discovered Legacy Craft, a company dedicated to sharing the importance of scrapbooking through video, stories and music. I had saved the link when it was shared on a message board I frequent, because I loved the song clip on their homepage. I finally ordered the CD right before Christmas. Unfortunately there was some type of problem at their end, but after I emailed the owner, he was especially apologetic and said he’d get the CD right out. He was extremely accommodating, because the package arrived only two days later. And I was full of … Continue reading
