Wednesday’s Weekly Challenge-Doodling

It adds a little of your personality. 2. It makes things pop. If you outline a paper, then it stands out a little more from the paper behind … Continue reading

Visually Appealing Pages: Part Three

Welcome back to my three part series on “Visually Appealing Pages.” Today we are going to wrap this up with a few more ideas to make your scrapbook pages come alive. You can also make your own envelope, using your favorite patterned or colored paper. You could also incorporate stamps and … Continue reading

Displaying Memorabilia in a Scrapbook

Recently I scanned some old pictures of myself that I found in some scrapbooks I had created years ago. My scrapbooks include a lot of memorabilia, including newspaper clippings. The thing that stands out with the newspaper clippings is how they have yellowed. I have more scrapbooks that I still want to create and they will include newspaper clippings. But I really hate the idea of them yellowing. I happened across an article just the day other and it gave a solution to the yellowing problem. You take a capful of Milk of Magnesia and pour it into a bottle … Continue reading

Displaying Your Scrapbook Albums

It is always interesting to me to hear the different ways that scrapbookers organize and display their scrapbooking albums. There are so many different outlooks on the way that they should be displayed, and many different ways that scrapbookers do display their albums.
