Long ago I discovered Stampin’ Up! when I was invited to a consultants house for a party. Like anyone invited to something like that, I was sceptical, all the way until I saw the products. Close To My Heart Profile and Interview (2)

Nicole: Hi Theresa, I know that Close To My Heart has always been known for their stamps, but what other types of products does Close To My Heart offer to customers? Theresa: Our My Acrylix™ System is definitely our most popular product, you’re right about that. It’s how Jeanette got started in all this. Close To My Heart Profile and Interview (1)

Close to My Heart has always been one of my favorite scrapbook related companies. I don’t know if it’s because it is one of the first experiences I ever had with rubber stamps and I bought dozens, or if it’s because I love everything they offer and I’m still buying dozens! The story of Close to My Heart and it’s beginnings is an interesting one, actually. The founder, Jeanette Lynton, started her first direct-sales decorative stamp business in 1984. This business venture eventually turned into the former company D.O.T.S. (Dozens of Terrific Stamps). This was when I was introduced to … Continue reading

The Angel Company Profile and Interview (1)

The Angel Company™ was started in 1998 mostly for rubber stampers, but they got caught up in the whole scrapbook craze rather quickly. In 1999, they introduced their first unmounted stamping system, that eventually added an improved Creative Cling™ stamping system. I had an opportunity to chat with an Angel Company consultant, who shared information about their many new products, like designercollections™, soarwithitcollections™, wingitcollections™ and flywithitcollections™ which would put any paper collection to shame and is really rather impressive. The Angel Company offers a very rewarding business opportunity that allows each individual consultant to design their own business and future … Continue reading

Creative Memories Company Profile and Interview pt. 1

It’s amazing what one simply phone call can do. Rhonda Anderson, a Montana homemaker was teaching a mother’s group about how she preserved her families stories in keepsake albums. She was shocked when she learned that all the mother’s just kept their photos stuffed in drawers and boxes and some even under the bed! She became obsessed with helping them capture and tell their stories. Rhonda called a Minnesota based album manufacturer and placed an order for 40 albums. Since it was after hours when Rhonda placed her call to the company, the company executive, Cheryl Lightle picked up the … Continue reading
